Safety

In vitro studies (performed at SkinEthic Laboratories, Nice, France) demonstrated that the NitrAdine® solution is only mildly irritant after 24H continued contact with reconstituted human oral epithelium.

In vivo studies (performed at Toxikon Laboratories, Bedford, USA) showed that the NitrAdine® solution is:

• non irritating (oral irritation study in hamsters)
• non allergic (skin sensitization study in guinea pigs)

No adverse effects have been reported in humans.
